Sustainability is not a dashboard. It is hardware in the ground, gathering its own data and acting on it. Two systems carry the division into public space, and both run sovereign on Univers infrastructure.

01Urban Energy Furniture · Torba OS™

Univers Solar Bench

A bench that is also a power station, a sensor array, and a live node on the city grid. An integrated photovoltaic canopy harvests sunlight to offer the public wireless and USB-C charging, while the same structure measures air quality, temperature, and footfall and reports it back to Torba OS. Surplus energy feeds the local micro-grid. Maintenance is predictive rather than reactive: AURA flags a failing cell weeks before anyone would notice it in the street.

Univers Connected Lighting

Street lighting that thinks. Each luminaire brightens and dims to real movement rather than a fixed timetable, cutting energy use without ever leaving a street dark. Every light is also a sensor, reading noise, air quality, and traffic flow into the city dashboard. When a fault occurs, the network self-reports its exact location, so a crew arrives knowing what to fix. The outcome is a lighting estate that costs less to run every year it stays in the ground.
