Nexus OS runs entirely on-device. Navigation, sensor fusion, obstacle avoidance, task execution, and inter-robot communication all occur within the processing architecture of the robot itself. No data leaves the device during normal operations. No cloud latency affects real-time decision-making. No external service disruption compromises deployment continuity.
The architecture of Nexus OS is modular: each functional capability, navigation, task management, communication, safety, diagnostics, operates as an independent system with defined interfaces. This modularity enables Nexus OS to be configured for the specific operational requirements of each robot type within the Kinetics fleet. VEGA's service navigation requirements differ from SENTINEL's security monitoring requirements and TITAN's industrial load management requirements, Nexus OS adapts to each.
Nexus OS integrates directly with Univers AURA™ for environmental awareness, and with Univers Animus™ for behavioural and motion control. This three-system architecture, Nexus OS for operations, AURA for environment, Animus for behaviour, forms the complete intelligence stack of every Univers Kinetics deployment.
Nexus OS is not available as a standalone product or open-source distribution. It is proprietary to Univers Kinetics.
