Univers V-Commerce™

The category V-Commerce defines is distinct from virtual reality retail (which requires a headset), augmented reality product placement (which requires a mobile application), and 360-degree photography (which is passive and non-interactive). V-Commerce is none of these things. It is a fully interactive 3D shopping environment that operates within any modern web browser, on any device, without installation, without plugins, and without hardware prerequisites.

A V-Commerce environment built for a fashion brand allows a consumer to walk through a digital store, examine garments from every angle, see how materials behave under different lighting conditions, and complete a purchase, all within the browser tab they were already in. For a luxury goods brand, the same environment allows a consumer to place a watch on a rendered wrist, examine the movement through a sapphire crystal, compare finishing options side by side. For a furniture retailer, it allows a consumer to place products in a spatially accurate model of their own room.

The technical foundation is Univers Engine™. The commerce integration layer connects to existing e-commerce platforms and product information management systems without bespoke backend engineering. The analytics layer provides granular behavioural data on how consumers interact with products in three dimensions, data that two-dimensional product pages cannot generate.
